why then do you cover up when you're in your underwear? Wouldn't the bikini reveal more?

Your friend is like me! Well, I dress conservatively, though not as much as her (I like wearing skirts and dresses as long as they're at least halfway down my thighs). But I agree with her -- at the beach, I'm trying to get sun and swim, and I don't really notice if people stare, because everyone else is wearing a bikini, so I pretty much blend in! At bars, you KNOW guys are gonna hit on you if you wear something revealing. Also, I wear bikinis because I have trouble finding cute one pieces that fit me well. Either the bust is too large or the bottom is too large--I can't win either way! So it's easier with bikinis.

umm well I guess the bikini is meant to be seen, the underwear not so much. That's why we are more shy with it. It's something that's suppose to be private

Because a bikini is APPROPRIATE to wear without a cover up; underwear is NOT!

good point. like why its not coool for your friends older brother to see you in ur underwares but yet they see you in ur bathing suit all the time which shows more.
oh i feel ya!
