Nothing is simple. If this is about weight, we should look into how/where you weigh them. Let's say if they both in soaked condition and weight is defined as bulk, then you weigh them of one pound each, which is heavier?

Both weigh the same but if you drop them from a building, the feathers may scatter unless they are bundled properly. The feathers occupy a larger volume compared to the rock.

Hmmm...this is a tricky question..could you provide more information. Is the rock pumice or lead?? Is the feather from a turkey or the down of little chicks!!!
