Do you feel like they prefer their life on the game over reality? Are you jealous of the people he/she is playing the game with? Do they consider the people from the game their close friends? Have you considered ending the relationship over their incessant game playing?

My husband plays Battlefield 2142 for like 3 hours when he gets off of work. He says that its his way of "winding down" after a long day at work. I guess if he missed work to play the game then I would be worried. You gotta look at it this way; at least he is at home with you instead of out tomcatting around. You will always know where he is and know that the people that he is talking are harmless nerds just like he is. There are always worse things he could be doing besides playing online games.

No. He is never on here ... I play on Answers when he is at work to pass the time by... And along my journey have found it quite fun, and some things really touch the heart as well... If you look at some of the questions you see people really looking for answers to so many common things we all go through..

I kinda had the same situation with my exboyfriend, he was a video game addict, and I didnt mind at all but it started driving me nuts when he prefered to stay home playing his video games instead of going out with me.
As far as it doesnt affect his personnality of his life its ok, and your relationship of course.
When it does, you better talk to him and tell him he has to do efforts for the relationship to work.
If he doesnt, then let him get married with his game idols.
:D good luck

My husband has his own computer. It started out that this was a shared computer, until I went on line. Then our son gave him his own computer. {He
gave us this one, too} I loaded his computer with a variety of games, Snooker &
encyclopedia.
