How are the elements positioned around the compass? i.e. Earth-North, Air-east, Fire-South, Water-West.

North = Earth
South = Fire
West = Water*
East = Air*
*As far as I know, the associations for water and air are traditional, but sometimes people are more comfortable with it the other way around, depending on what coast they live on (US) But now I am looking at your question again, and seeing that you already wrote that, so now I am trying to figure out what your question is??
