I'm planning to buy a converter for my PSU and this is what I'm considering to buy: http://www.outletpc.com/c6225.html. I'm afraid that it will not fit I modern HDs because they also sell this: http://www.outletpc.com/c6732.html. Which one should I get?

I love how these places try to rip people off, both use the same type of connector, so in fact these two parts are the exact same thing, but they just stuck SATAII on the label of the second one so they can charge a little more. Get the first and cheaper one.

Don't worry, they are both the same, as well as the data cable. Power supplies only have SATA connectors, and they work with both kinds of drives, so either would be fine.

They're the same thing, though in the future they may not work because SATA includes a 3.3v line, its just no current hardware uses it because of these adaptors (your molex 4 pin only provides 5v and 12v)
