For me means to make someone else to feel insecure about something or someone else. For example some who is young may have a nice car and then he or she thinks there better then there other friends, and then finds out that they end up with no friends at all. In long run material things will never conqure for a friend ship. Or another example if you have a house and a neighbor does something new to there home, The other neighbor then wants to also do something to theres cause they feel that the neighbors house looks better. I am not sure if that is what your looking to read or not but that is some ways that I may see things. For my self no much worries me over all. If I have good health and those that love me not much more I can ask for. GOod luck with your responses.

It means either you find something (and item, activity or duty) to be far greater than what you feel is within your ability to handle. Things like large trucks, water skiing, and management duties can be intimidating.

It can also mean using force of will, threats, and acts of violence to scare a person or group of people into doing or acting how you want them to. Stalking, shoving, hitting and other violent acts are all forms of intimidation.
