Fr. Ted is a good one, try also The Panel it has a range of Irish accents from Dublin to northern to midland and sometimes cork. Try online radio too:

The accents on Jakers are awful as are most American attempts at an Irish accent.

It depends on which region in Ireland, every region has a different accent. It's more like singing in the South-West or Ireland, and in the North and North-West it sounds similar to the dialect spoken in Scotland.

Here's a suggestion, go to the radio station online: there is the state broadcaster RTE, but if you google radio stations in Ireland, you should get all of them - but be careful, some broadcast in the Irish language, and you won't understand ANY of that!

I wish you luck.
I live not far from a very Irish town in NY...
there are MANY different Irish accents.
In England, I know for a fact, there are 22 differnet dialects, and there are country and town versions of each.
So, good luck in just finding the one.
And when you have broadened your horizons, be aware that there's further still you might be a-going!

Search for Tommy Tiernan (comedian) on youtube. Here: http://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=tommy+tiernan&search=Search

And for a hardcore Northern Irish accent, try Gerry Adams or Ian Paisley (Sinn Féin and DUP politicians, respectively):

Graham Norton has a mild Irish accent, you might want to start off there and work your way up to the hardcore stuff! You'll soon learn to love it.
