Not long ago I wouldn't have hesitated to answer Yes to this question, you could travel the world seeing every place you ever wanted to, try all the extremes you always wanted to without fear of dieing, etc. etc. etc., but now I think of the emotional and mental impact that being immortal would have on someone, watching those you love born into this world , then die and leave this world and you remain totally unchanged, watching the world itself change and you never changing, I think in the end I'd prefer death over the madness that could cause...

If it would mean being 35 while immortal, then yes. Wise enough, and no wrinkles.
It would be kinda fun to see the world generations to come but always assuming a new name in each century.
I Would also hope to be able to support myself.

Of course, I would like to be immortal.
It is a funny thing that you ask this question because I have been dreaming this for the past three weeks.
No joke!

No. Resoundingly. Can you imagine being in a horrific accident where your head was crushed in and you couldn't die? Or watching all of your loved ones die around you and not having anyone left? Or some idiot president finally pushes the button or releases some biological or chemical and you are the only person left on the planet? No way! Not me!

The question has been rendered academic. Once you enter eternity, you are immortal. Where you spend that eternity/immortality, is the real point.

Whats to say that we are not all immortal? Just because our breath is gone and our heart stops I believe our spirit continues.

It's not a choice. We are all immortal. We will all live forever. The choice is where.
