i have a problem centering the text page. It's to the far left for some reason... Does anyone know how to fix it so that it's in the center? Thank you.

Alt C didn't work :[ It only made a beeping sound. Thanks for answering though.

I don't have any problems with the test itself. Like align right, center, and align right. It's just the whole page itself is shifted to the left. I think restarting the program sounds like a good idea. I'll wait one day and see if anyone can find an answer to my problem and if not, I'll restart. Thanks for the advice.

Take the line you want centered, do not put any characters in front just left align the text and paragraph. Then highlight the text or paragraph and click the "Center" text on the format line which should be above your working area. If that still leaves the text too far to the left, check the page left and right margins from the "Format" menu.

If you dont have the tools showing click the "View" then toolbars and be sure Function, Object, Main are checked then check Ruler and Status bar so you can see your page layout.

try 3 things

1. highlite the text and then click the center button.

2. restart the program

3. If both of these dont work you might want to uninstall then reinstall.

Good luck hope these works
