Have you ever seen a "mythical" creature, or maybe just something that someone believes to be mythical?

Since I seem to be answering a bunch of weird questions, I might as well hit this one as well. I have seen two things I'd call mythical, though several more that could be lumped into paranormal. Mythic wise, I did SEEM TO PERCEIVE what is generalized as a unicorn under a giant tree (like five stories high at least) near a park in my home town. I was 7ish and looking out the window of my father's house, waiting for my mother to come pick me up.
And when I was much older and less sleepy, I think I saw what what I've heard called "shadow people" after I got out from a late night movie (not a horror movie =P).

I commune with Angels on a daily basis. The Angelic realm offers few visions, and seeing a visual representation of an Angel is a highest honour. I have but glimpsed white wings, Michael's cobalt blue cloak, and his golden sword.

Other than that, I think people would consider the Fey as mythical. I have seen these proud creatures many times- in fact I call upon their magick as part of my White Witch practises. Many do not have wings- further, many are human sized rather than the size of a barbie doll that many are. Some do not even have pointy ears. There are many different faeries I have seen, and each has a fascinating aspect.

If you class Spirits ('ghosts') as mythical then yes, on a daily basis.

there have been myths for many years of very large birds, thought to be extinct or mythic, landing in trees in peoples back yards.
when I lived with my parents (as a teen) I saw two such birds, gigantic, almost pterodactyl in appearance in a neighbors tree. it was amazing.. I have also seen animal like creatures riding in the back of someones car once or twice, similar to a dog but much bigger and otherworldly like in appearance. Because I am an intuitive, I can "see" into other dimensions, I believe that many others can also do this. This may be what accounts for many of the big foot sightings, loch ness, alien and so on.

When I was little say about 11-12... I was sitting in the woods behind My aunt B's house in the little vine fort my best friend and I played in... I was reading a book and I thought I heard bees so I looked up and I kid you not I saw a fairy...it had a light blue aurora around it it was a bit smaller then a humming bird... You could see right through it...It stayed in one place for about 15 sec.. and then took off. I continued to go back hoping to catch a glimpse of it again....I saw another of a different color (orange) about 6 months later.. after that I moved and haven't seen any since.. but I keep looking!

i woke up terrified,WHY?i was trembling with fear? then i felt a presence in the room, i was six years old, i did NOT wish to look over,but i did, there were 3 small demons flying around my older brothers bed, i screamed.when one of them looked over at me with those evil evil eyes, i will never forget, but no sound came out of my mouth when i screamed.,i was so petrified with fear. i put my head down till the greenish light in the room went away and i felt that they had left

I saw an alien on my living room once. I was resting in the couch, and all of the sudden I looked back and there it was, standing still in the corner, watching me with those big, black eyes. Then, as suddenly as it was there, it vanished.

So when I was little I played with Bella, Dancer, Chris and Rose who were fairies... We had picnics and all sorts of fairy fun. Then Harvey the Pooka came and chased them away...
