There is a flock of robins in my yard and my neighbors yard, there must be over 50 of them, I told a friend of mine about it and she said she thought she heard before that that means something but she can't remember what, does it mean anything?

American Robins spend time in large flocks in migration and in winter. We see flocks of hundreds and sometimes thousands here in Texas in winter. They are returning to their breeding grounds now and probably stopped to feed.

It's a sure sign of spring! Robins migrate from warm climates during the winter, and return north in the spring to nest and make more little worm gobblers...

I can only say that fifty years ago there were flocks every fall and it seemed to me that they were migrating
