As long as it's decent quality. A cheap thin glass might shatter.

I know you can put glass bowls made out of pyrex in the microwave, but be careful because they come out REALLY hot! I don't know about a glass that you drink out of. I know some coffee mugs are safe. A thin glass might break, I've never tried it though.
Anyway I don't think your microwave will cause you to die a horrible death, unless maybe you crawl in and have someone turn it on for you.

Yeh i know this is just for fun but no dont put class into the microwave unless you want to take out a hot pitcher of whatever just for it to brake.
unless that yeah go head it won't hurt.
