I have a 2006 Harley Davidson Sportster 883L and I drive a 2005 Dodge Ram 1500 V8 single cab.
Both of these have been at the shop numerous times!!! Funny thing is that I only have 68,000 miles on the truck and about 2,300 miles on the Harley.
Lets face it... as much as we hate to admit Japanese products are way better than american they are!
My wife rides a 2006 Honda Shadow Spirit 750 (about 2,100 miles on it) and drives a 2004 Honda Accord (about 129,000 miles). None of these two have been at the shop other than the regular maintenance.
Now I’ll always say this... If you want speed and luxury go for european products, if you want reliable go for japanese and if you want to be a true american then buy american but there is a price for that...
Another funny thing is that I traded my 2004 Honda Sabre for this crapy harley… I still kick my self on the rear end every time I have to take it to the shop for repairs. Lesson well learned!!!
Within a couple of months my next vehicle will be the new Toyota Tundra and a Honda motorcycle!

I currently ride a 2004 883 C Sportster. I drive a 1993 Ford Explorer. You will find that majority of Harley riders are owners of American made cars and trucks. It is the "buy American attitude" that makes us proud Harley owners. By the end of the year I will be moving up to a Electriglide or Road King.

3 Harley's ,2 FXRs and a Sportster converted to a sidecar for the dog.
I drive a Ford F-250 4X4 and a Mustang Cobra.
One of the FXRs is the old lady's she is a traitor and dives a Honda Accord. In her defense it's a pretty decent car.

I drive a Harley Davidson Superglide.
My truck is not currently on the road. When it is, I drive a 1971 International Harvester 1210.
Drum brakes, no power booster, Armstrong steering, and enough power to pull a house. A REAL truck. (not a man's truck, my wife drives it when she wants)
