Is it true that you lose your tan if you put bath and body works products on your body besides your hands. Its been going around my school that their is minerals in the products that can take awaY your tan.

not true.... ganning actually increases melanin production in the skin . Nothing topical , like a body butter , or lotion will effect it . Its more likely that your tan will fade because of NOT being properly moisturized .

now those fake spray on tans , that may be a different story ...thats a chemical process , and the chemicals in the bath and body works brand may very well effect the color longevity by causing some sort of reactionary response ... the best moistureizer you can use with a spry on tan is just good old aveno , or plain lubriderm .

Only if the tan came in a bottle!

A real suntan is made from melanin, which is the same pigment that makes freckles. It's inside the cells of your skin, so any topical application won't really effect it.

No absolutely not true. The only way that I know to lose your tan is to stay outta the sun or get bleached like Micheal Jackson...lol

I think thats a myth. I went to mexico and i got a tan. I use bath and body works every day! Dont worry.

Nope not true. I use some of their produtcs they are okay and I still have my tan.

idk but i wouldnt think its possible. but be 4 you do that try a tan extender lotion.
