It is best just to use a regular cup or glass cup. I don't think that it will explode but it might melt depending on how long you put it in for. It is also a good idea not to put it in the microwave because plastic gives off toxic fumes and chemicals to the things that it is holding when heated.If you don't have any regular cups than I suggest you go to a Wal-
mart or Target and get some. You can probably get about 10 glass cup for about 2 - 4 dollars.

sure you can put the plastic cup in the microwave but it may look a little different when you get finished heating it

Some plastic are made to be microwaved. Of course you have to have something inside it.

A research my college student son did, says you shouldn't heat any thing in plastic as it can release unhealthy bacteria!

once i had put foil in the mirowave, and it had started to sprak up! plastic won't melt or explode b/c plates are plastic too, and they don't do that............

it depends on how powerful your microwave is. it could be done, just dont microwave it too long.

you can but i wouldn't recommend it. yeah it would probably melt.
