What dream? his? You know there are many other worthy people who should have an equal chance to win. You shouldn't say keep the dream alive since its not his dream only. Besides, not that many people like sanjaya. If you want the truth about why he's still in, go to www.votefortheworst.com. It's a website backed by Howard Stern encouraging its members to vote for the worst contestant. Along with that, prepubescent teenage girls staying up past their bedtime keeps him in. So by supporting Sanjaya, those girls will just continue to stay awake past their bedtime and TV ratings would go down. With TV ratings for Idol plummeting, the show could potentially be cancelled, which is something YOU don't want. Sanjaya has an edge in these ways, so forgetting to vote for him might be fair. I don't watch the show, my parents took cable away on weekdays for the schoolyear. The only reason I even know about sanjaya is from radio news on how bad he is and from griping kids at school saying how he sucks. Sorry, but I can't remember that for you.
P.S. It's not good if someone has a low budget phone contract and telling them to vote for someone they potentially dislike would just be a waste of money. Bye.

I'm looking for someone who can really sing because that's what the show is about. Nothing against Sanjaya or his fans though.

i don't watch american idol, but have seen bits here and there. i also don't get into pop music much. but i think sanjaya is the closest thing to a pop star on that show. he sounds like a young michael jackson, and is the kind of cute that 10-15 year old girls find irresistible. i'd like to see him win. he's the only one that fits the bill, in my opinion.
