The woman I am with now and have been for the past 5 yrs.
My opinion of a soul mate may be different than yours. I don't believe there is one soul mate for each of us. That is impossible. We meet by chance, fall in love and make the best of the relationship. Now sometimes, down the road it just doesn't work out.And we go on and maybe, hopefully find someone else that may make us even happier, maybe not.Who knows;to think that there is only one person or "soul mate" is the same an insect or another animal species mating and dieing immediately after the act as is their nature.

World is too big. Are you really gonna travel around to look for this so called "soul mate". When you are in a relationship, don't think of your lover as a soul mate, just love him with all your heart. And cherish every moment you have with him. Because he might be the real thing. Or not, but love shouldn't be regretful. If you are single, just enjoy life being single, because your soul mate might suddenly pop out of nowhere and you'll be occupy.

I don't know what this says about me but I will admit this anyway; I once told someone "I don't believe in soulmates but if I didn't I would think you were mine". I still think if I have a soulmate it is that guy, someone I found at only 16 years old but he was a jerk and I moved on and loved and married someone else. Nothing changes knowing that he was that person I felt more connected to than anyone else on this other deeper level I don't hit with other people. Lesson soulmate does not equal love or goodness. I also kind of think maybe we have multiple soulmates out there - how else do people keep falling in love? Even after losing spouses they had for years.

A soul mate is different to everyone.. but to me it was the person that completes me.. That one person you meet in your whole life that no matter what is always on your mind. You cant imagine waking up without them. or going to bed without them. its the light in their eyes, the feel of their touch. their scent. the sound of their voice or their hear beat.. its all those things and many more.. Most of all its feeling like they complete you. My Husband is the love of my life and he is my soul mate. and we both feel the same way.
