heres an example:

2/4 = b/1
2(1)=4b
2=4b
0.5=b

3/4 x 8/9= Cancel the 3 and make it 1 and the 9 and make it 3. Cancel the 4 and make it a 1 and an 8 and make it a 2.

Answer is 2/3

c...but you worte is wrong, numerator on right side with denominator on the left side, numerator on left side with numerator on right side

it is like this:
2/5 2 is the numerator and 5 is the denominator
3/6 3 is the numerator and 6 is the denominator

so you cross multiply = 2 multiply by six and 3 multiply by 5
answer= 12/15 divide by 3 (simplify it) answer will be 4/5
