Astrology question...Do u think it will last???

I am a Aries born on 3-21-1973 and he is a Taurus 4-26-1978
we met on the internet in August and he moved out here to live with me.....Just curious..He asked me to marry him!!!

What's "lasting" have to do with it?

I don't think you can measure the success of this relationship (female Aries with a younger male Taurus) in terms of years; maybe months, but certainly not years.

There is also a fundamental imbalance within the relationship you described: for example, the female Aries has the more "masculine" dynamic Martian energy, and the male Taurus has the more submissive/receptive "feminine" Venusian energy. This is not the natural order of things in terms of a male-female equilibrium. So what happens is that the female Aries will take the initiative away from the male Taurus because that's the natural order for Aries. But the man-woman thing is all wrong.

Also, the fact that the guy moved away from where ever he lived to live with the female Aries does not bode well for a long-lasting relationship. He's probably unemployed, or at least he was and will be again soon.

You can already see the handwriting on the wall. It's upside down and a little backwards. Not good. The Taurus is too dependent, too unstable and not very provocative. The Aries is already apprehensive; I dont see the Taurus asking these questions, do you?

In my opinion, this Aries female would have a better chance of a long lasting relationship if the guy was a Gemini, an Aquarius, another Aries or a Leo.

This isn't really a good match because the Ram wants lots of excitement and adventure where as Taurus the Bull wants comfort, security and to acquire lots of things -- not really all that adventurous. This can get pretty boring for the Aries, even though it gets off to a loving start; it can just die out due to lack of excitement for the ardent Aries. There is an exception to this, like with other signs, Aries will go well with Taurus if strong indicators are found in their synastry charts. (Mate compatibility). Having a strong moral and ethical ground will also make this a much better match. The thing to work on is control. Don't insist on going on an adventure all the time, and Taurus, take a chance, live a little and take an adventure or two!

I am Taurus and had a relationship with an Aries for 22 years it was like living in Hell with the Devil himself : )
