How can I set a power point slide as my desktop background????

You can't...

But you can screen grab it (display it, use alt-PrtSc to grab the active window), paste it into a paint program and save the file, make the file your background picture.

Best save it as a .bmp

If you get the powerpoint frame fullscreen, you'll get a .bmp that fits onto the screen

Run your PowerPoint show, when you get to the farme you like, do a Control Printscreen . This will place the image on your clipboard.

Start Paint and do an Edit Paste.
Under File, Set as Background.

right click and click on set as backround!!!
