e.g. television is completly biased, to culture, time and whatever other motivation there might be behind it. I have a hard time trusting all of the info. we get. And there is a massive flow of info. today.
Information Overload?

ALL information you get has a slant. There is NO source that is impartial. Not even yourself. After all, even objectivity can be a prejudice at times.

So what do you do? Listen to everything, but completely trust nothing. Learn to filter what you hear; to pick the kernels of truth out like a bird plucking seeds from the gravel. Learn not to rely on what you THINK you know - it's a sure bet that many of those things are wrong. It's even a sure bet that you will be wrong about WHICH of those things are wrong.

So it goes. Don't think of it as an enterprise of despair, but rather as a mystery to be solved. There is an answer. YOUR answer. It may not match with the answers others get, but the only person who does the grading is you. Try to get good marks.

You cant believe any info that you get...The only thing you can possible do is look at this info and judge how much sense it makes...There is always a hidden agenda in everything that mankind does...There is no such thing as a selfless act or thought...

I will say, that with out this sort of control and manipulation, we would have never grown the way we have in the world...With out the control and direction, we would have had nothing but utter chaos..

The united states has grown the way it did, because we have a false sense of individuality...Truth be know, it is all fake..The country is run by the POWERS THAT BE, not the government...The government has about the same authority that the student counsel in school...

So, to survive, you just have to pick and choose your belief and direction...Dont get me wrong, there really isnt any other country I would want to live in...But, I am saying we are living in Disney Land...ha ha..

Most newspapers in the USA are left leaning. True reporting is a thing of the past. The real info comes from people not afraid of their superiors. Trust yourself. You know right from wrong, define your own opinions. Truth is universal. It is not defined by Hollywood, Newspapers or Political Parties. If someone said your Brother was your Sister, you would know that to be false. Trust is in each of us to say yes or no to whatever info is presented. You have a mind, use it.

Research all sides of a topic if it is important to you. Ask someone who completely agrees why, then ask someone who completely disagrees the same thing, then find more information and base your idea on all of the above. And if you don't trust media, look around online for average people who will help you out!

--YOU NEVER do so fully or even near to it!

--Even the Bible in several places cautions any full trust and if that:

(1 John 4:1) “4 Beloved ones, do not believe every inspired expression, but test the inspired expressions to see whether they originate with God, because many false prophets have gone forth into the world.”

The Bibles claim of inspiration as to clear cut teachings & prinicples are indeed things I trust, because I can trace their derivation from God--in the Bible--
--The Scriptures act as a living plumb line, even with so-called modern prophets, news reporters, news shows, tv reporting, politicians, religious leaders etc.:

(2 Timothy 3:16-17) “16 All Scripture is inspired of God and beneficial for teaching, for reproving, for setting things straight, for disciplining in righteousness, 17 that the man of God may be fully competent, completely equipped for every good work.”

--So it is indeed vital to establish firm truths:

--For instance there is a prophecy in the Bible that states the nations earth wide will declare that finally they have attained peace & security for mankind, WITHOUT GOD'S KINGDOM:

(1 Thessalonians 5:1-3) “5 Now as for the times and the seasons, brothers, YOU need nothing to be written to YOU. 2 For YOU yourselves know quite well that Jehovah’s day is coming exactly as a thief in the night. 3 Whenever it is that they are saying: “Peace and security!” then sudden destruction is to be instantly upon them just as the pang of distress upon a pregnant woman; and they will by no means escape.”

--If you note it says "then sudden destruction", but by what?

--By the very same kingdom we pray for in the Lord's Prayer "......they kingdom come thy will be done on earth as it is in heave..."

--When you think about this you might be saying oh that's an old story--And your right Jesus taught that content of the Kingdom of God bringing Armaggedon 2000 years ago!
--BUT IS HE someone you can trust fully, I believe so , for he never lied in any way?

--There is nothing wrong with having a measure of trust as to true reporting of news but ultimately we have to think about what was posed 2500 yrs. ago as to true reporting and the false, having to do with any major promise--ESPECIALLY FOR THE FUTURE:

(Isaiah 43:9) “9 Let the nations all be collected together at one place, and let national groups be gathered together. Who is there among them that can tell this? Or can they cause us to hear even the first things? Let them furnish their witnesses, that they may be declared righteous, or let them hear and say, ‘It is the truth!’””

--THE NEED FOR CAUTION is because of the fact in question---WHAT NATION has ever really told the truth to its people!

You can't because they are not always trustworthy or reliable. Even your own senses can deceive you as well.
So it is always wise to think things threw, to observe with an open mind and to pay attention to the little things that are not so obvious.

Don't believe anything you hear and only half of what you see. You must rely on your own firsthand experience while staying open to new things. We all view life through our own limited-perception-based-reality.

Go with your gut. If it's truth it will settle peacefully within you. I imagine most things have a tidbit of truth and a lot of other stuff mixed in.
