have a question for someone who has purchased this DVD
Is it true that the DVD itself (disc) looks as if it were "bootlegged" or pirated. just to keep up with the whole comedic thing?
reason why i ask is because i have a subscription with NETFLIX and i just receive Borat in the mail but the dvd itself looks fake and bootleg. i asked their customer service and they said it was suppose to look like that.
i think they are lying to me. lol

That's how it's supposed to look. Just says 'Borat' in black (magic marker) print and says 'Demorex'.... LOL!

If you bought the movie from a downtown liquor store like a week before its release date then chances are it's a bootleg. But Netflix is a reputable corporation and I'm pretty sure they have to follow the strict guidelines of the movie industry.

I got the same thing from Blockbuster. I think they made it like that intentionally as part of the whole primative aura surrounding Borat. I for one think it's hysterical.

No, that is what it looks like, I thought it was weird too, but it is too keep with the whole comedic theme.
I love that movie it is HILLLLLLARIOUS!!
