Well, unfortunately yes. Here's an advice, never start a futile argument over stuff like these. Instead try talking to him, try to understand why he's treating you this way. Even if you don't agree with him, or even mad about his action. Stay calm, tell him your reason. Which is you love to draw, and everyone has the right to do what the love as long as it doesn't hurt others. Also show him how much you love him,and markers and color pencils is just art supplies, no big deal.

Yes My husband does. Sometimes the kids get away with more than I can..LOL. I would go and buy more markers and pencils and tell him this could turn into a really expensive game for him..LOL.

Yes, but not in actions.... in words. He will talk to me like I'm a teenager, and I don't understand the pressures he goes through during the day. I tell him I am grateful for what he puts up with, and proud of him for sticking it through. But that he needs to give me more credit. I have a fully functioning adult brain that uses deductive reasoning just like he does, and to stop talking to me as though I were 15... thank you... I love you...
The End.

nope, mine knows better. I hope you aren't married to some control freak. Don't let him treat you like that. Even if that was an isolated incident you need to tell him how you felt about it and tell him that in the future that you would appreciate him handling the situation by treating you like an adult. You don't need him to be your father you need him to be your husband.

It's been more than once that I've had to tell him to stop talking to me like I'm a two year old.
