1) side=2*radius*sin(180/n) where is n=number of sides
=2*10*sin(180/9)
=2*10*sin(20)
=6.9 inches (approx)

2) =2*15*sin(180/6)
=30*sin(30)
=30*0.5
=15 inches

The central angle is 360/9=40 degrees for each of the nine triangles isosceles you can divide your polygone.The base angles are 70 degrees
Drawing the apothem L= 2r cos 70 = 6.84 inches
You should do the same for the hexagon.
