Given the cold temperatures and the lack of a breathable atmosphere, you would need a sealed colony with its own environment. Whenever you were outdoors, you'd need survival gear that resembled a spacesuit. Mars does have an atmosphere, so you wouldn't need to be protected against vacuum, but you'd definitely need to carry your own air supply around with you.

You would have to grow a set of antennae on top of your head in order to communicate with the Martians and feathers on your entire body to keep warm . You would probably have to give up your citizenship also .

You won't have to adapt as much as you will need to take everything with you. Food, oxygen a source of heat and of course, radiation shielding.

well, you will need to mutate in several ways... for start your metabolism will need to work at - 140° c, you will need also a thiker skin with buid on uv filter, you need to breath with low atmosferic preasure, and this is just the begining... you will learn to eat dirt too
