No, like the others said goldfish are coldwater fish and neons are tropical. With only an airpump on the tank you should keep very, very few fish anyway. I would suggest you add a filter for your next purchase, then see about adding more fish.

they should not be in the same tank as Neon Tetras are tropical fish and Goldfish are cold water fish. The water temperature for a Neon Tetra should be much higher then for goldfish. If ther eis only an airpump and no heater then the tank is a coldwater tank and good for Goldfish

wow I've been reading these answers and I got myself worried because I have 3 neons sharing an aquarium with 2 goldfish and they have lived together for several weeks I say you should just try it and let nature take its course . But you should really get a filter

Goldfish and Neon Tetras don't mix. Goldfish are coldwater fish and neon tetras are tropical fish. The neon tetras will also nip at your goldfish's fins.

Oh, poor fishies. They need a filter. And to be kept separately. Goldfish need much colder water than tetras do. Also, as goldfish grow bigger, they may eat the tetras.

Probably. The neons like different water chemistry and may not do well in the tank allowing the goldfish to eat them

goldfish produce a vast amount of amonia which will, most likely, kill all other aquarium fish...unless they are being used as a food source!
