I was in the 5th grade and ten years old, living in San Jose, California.
I remember, I had a 5th grade teacher named Mrs. Kalsched. But everybody called her Mrs. Cowsh!t. It was funny. Those were the days I would sit in the back of the car seat with no seat belt in back of a White Plymouth Fury on family road trips. I'd skate to the neighborhood candy store with my four wheel skates and bought 25 cent Fundips on Friday afternoons after school. Fond memories.

well. what a year.....I was 27 years old and going through a Divorce after a 10 year marriage, Hysterectomy, and my fathers death!!! A year that I do not have total recollection of! A part of my life I try to erase and hide the painful memories and things I did

I was living in Tomah, Wisconsin and felt more alive and free than I had since I was 17 years old. I had been married to a
VERY, EXTREMELY, PHYSICALLY ABUSIVE (so called) man, and had only been divorced from him for a year. I felt like the warden had set me free. It felt like heaven in my eyes. The year 1979 was one of the greatest years for me.
