Rob Bottin's original concepts in John Carpenter's The Thing (1982)!!! Notice, there's NO BLOOD?!! He uses other colors and different textures to 'draw you into' the effect which is why people don't 'turn their heads' when one of the 'things' shows onscreen. Then it just blows you away.
I'd also like to throw a mention to Rick Baker's then-groundbreaking effects in John Landis' An American Werewolf in London'! To this very day, there hasn't been a better transformation of man to werewolf. It remains awesome. Not to mention those Machine Gun Ghoulies in the dream sequence blowing everyone away! :-)

You take me back to the fact of my pal lots. She loves staring at horror gore video clips, exceedingly previous college video clips, and is going on and on approximately all of the grotesque stuff in it. on occasion its worrying yet she is especially all the way down to earth. I want horro/secret than gore myself, yet i see no longer something incorrect with it :)
