Yes, it may hurt. I don't know the reasons for them needing to do for you; they usually do that if you have had a miscarriage. They may put you to sleep or not. If you have asked that question of your doctor and haven't gotten an answer....do you really want this person doing it? Go get a second opinion.

D&C can be done for a couple of reasons: 1. to clear out the contents of a pregnancy that has been miscarried that didn't come out on its own, or 2. for diagnostic purposes.

It is done in the OR with the lady under general anesthesia because if it was done with the person awake it would indeed cause a lot of pain.

There can be some cramping after the procedure because of the fact that they went in to your uterus.

I had a D&C done in 1999 for diagnostic purposes along with a hysteroscopy. A hysteroscopy is where they send a special camera up your vagina in to your uterus to check its conditon such as with the lining to make sure there are no abnormalities in there.

If you have any additional questions pls check with your dr as well.

A D&C is usually doen if you havent had a period ina while adn arent preggo to clean out te tissue that should have been shed by your period. It can also be used after a miscarriage to be sure everything from the pregnancy is out of the uterus. A D&C isnt used to get you pregnant. They dont put you to sleep it is usually done under a local anesthetic.

d&C...as in the abortion?it is very very painful for the baby! I believe this is the procedure in which they cut apart the baby and suck it into a tube.. Horrifying right? I would honestly rather die than to this to my child. Look up St. Giana (She had cancer and rather than undergo chemotherapy that would kill her baby, she went untreated and died, but delived a healthy baby)
Try praying to her
Also with any abortion, a woman can be scarred and be unable to have children again.
You will also be depressed.

DO THE RIGHT THING

they are going to squeeze us or print greater (our debt isn't being snapped up so on the instant anymore), and in the event that they print greater we are going to probable bypass into hyper inflation very on the instant. My suggestion? bypass on your nearest a million dollar save and purchase various lavatory paper, cleansing soap, and laundry detergent. you would be waiting to make a killing off that stuff on eBay while hyperinflation hits. additionally female hygiene products.
