I'm on the pill and have been for about 2 years now. I had my period as usual on the same days etc etc last week and stopped at my regular time. Now, a few days later, I've started bleeding again.
It's just like I'm on my period. Now I have only just discovered this so I've not bled that much, but there's still a fair amount of blood there.
I don't remember missing a pill and having sex with my partner recently.. but I just discovered I had missed 3 pills in a row (eek!!) - maybe that has something to do with it?

I need answers now - real ones please, ones that will HELP me, not make me angry at you for ur one word of ''advice''.

I'm really panicking.

I missed several days of my pills once and the same thing happened to me on my next period. It never happened again once I was back on my pills correctly.

I would wait and see how long this bleeding lasts. If it ends in a couple days I wouldn't worry about it. However, if it lasts longer and you stop and then start again in the next week or two, I would call my doctor.

Good luck!

Sounds like break through bleeding which can happen on the pill especially if you miss more than 1. I would suggest taking a HPT and then calling your Dr about what to do regarding missing 3 pills, Some pills if you miss more than 2 in a row you need to toss and start a new pack.

Yes missing the pills can cause one to have breakthrough bleeding (this is the bleeding that can act a lot like menstrual periods). I just ran in to this myself after missing just one pill.

It sounds like missing the 3 pills could have caused your problem. Pls get in touch with your dr to see what they want you to do but in the mean time try increasing your iron levels by eating things like spinach, raisins, and peanut butter (if not allergic to peanuts of course) to help ease some of the flow you are getting.

You missed some pills = use protection for the rest of the month and next moth. You have to get the hormones back into your cycle.
