you cut it with a saw, you can use a jig saw, circular saw, or hand saw- just tape along the line where you plan to cut so you don't scratch the plexiglass.

If it is thin (under 1/8") you can score it with a utility knife a few times and then snap it. If you use a power saw, go very slow speed and a fine tooth blade. Otherwise,the plexi will melt with the heat generated by cutting and you will have a lot of sanding to do on the edges.

You don't use a glass cutter. You want to score it deeply and then lay it along something and it will snap off. I use a drywall square to use as a straight edge. They sell a tool for the scoring.

A bandsaw on slow RPM has worked the best for me. It cuts without overheating the blade.

Reciprocating and circular type blades tend to heat up the plexiglass, and it gums up and either stalls the blade or fuses back together if you have a long or complicated cut.

I usually use a jigsaw ro cut plexiglass. A circular saw is better if you need really straight lines.

Do you mean Plexiglass? If so it easy to cut with a saw.
