belive the same things as they do? some one that i have been talking to just stopped talking to me cuz i had a different opinon then he did. cant we just agree to disagree?

People mistakenly believe that compatibility means we are alike in 'every' aspect....which is an impossibility.
Just because I disagree with you shouldn't mean that I don't like you any more. Also some people equate intellect with opinion.
Opinions are like feet...everybody is entitled to 1 or 2.

Is it a moral issue?
Anyway I would stop talking to someone who kept trying to draw me into a debate. It grates my nerves. I don't like people who have to turn everything into a debate.
This just happened. I told the guy I did not want to talk about it . I asked him if we could just agree to disagree---and he just kept on running his mouth.
He was one of those burned & bitter divorced people trying to tell me the negatives of marriage. So finally I just told him off...and stopped speaking to him.

Actually, yes. She's a friend of mine and she always ignored my sis bc of our race and our acustoms apparently.. so a few days later she calls up and asks for my sister..
-- this is what i said.."NO" -Hang Up-
she calls again.. obviously it didn't go through her thick head and i say this..-hang up-
SHE CALLS AGAIN!!
and i never answered..--- point is if someone has the nerve to disrespect and u dont like being treated like that, then dont treat them the way the want to be treated ..everyone has the right to speak up and sometimes u dont get respected the way u want.. do it to the ones who made u saddened its called sweet sweet revenge/ -or- karma .. EVENTUALLY they'll get the clue and stop annoying u

Yes and I feel like I'm better off without them. If they can't accept differences of opinion then I don't need to be bothered with them.

some people have to have everybody agree with them. i try to distance myself from people like that. you just cant talk to them. theyre closed minded

yes many stopped talking to me when as a teenager i realized i was gay, those who fall away so quickly aren't true friends.
