Honestly, whenever I come on the internet, and i go on girly sites, all the girls are like "rate me" or " How do I look?" I know sometimes us girls just want reassurance, but sometimes i get so sick of it! what do you think?

absolutely!!! it starts when we are very young & continues throughout life!!! pressures by family, friends, boyfriends & the media, & sometimes even ourselves, make it almost impossible not to want to be "perfect"...whatever that is!!! i think it`s better to just live your life & be yourself, just make the most of what god gave u, but don`t go overboard with things & u will be better off!!! it`s much better to be the real person u are, then to try to live up to the stereotyped "cookie-cutter" images that are constantly being pushed down our throats!!!

No. When half of the planet looks like Victoria Secret models... then yes, they would be obsessed. There are too many girls out there who make little effort, or only effort for a short while. There are way more girls out there saying, "quick, how do I lose 30 pounds in 30 hours..." etc. They don't obsess over how they look, they wait until they have a 'very good reason' to take care of themselves and sit and do little otherwise.

Of course.. The media portrays an image of every woman being incredibly beautiful. This is just simply unattainable by most girls, although many are cute and would probably be much prettier if they'd just been themselves.

most girls at some point in their lives feel that they are the ugly ducklying amongst their group of friends. i used to be one of them. but now whether i am pretty or not i just go about my day and ignor all that crap that says you have to be a certian height and a certain weight. its stupid. i dont care anymore so you should not either.

I hate it too! im like who cares you look ugly to me regardless.Thats why i never go on them sites or pay them attention.
