Would they still grow, only to be troubled and insecure?

I do not know... I never yell at them, because too many people yell at me and they are the only ones who don't, and I love them for it. they don't deserve to be yelled at. the only thing they want from me is water and sunlight, and good earth and warmth. They don't ask for conversation but they get it anyway.

I suppose, hypothetically, if you yelled at a plant, there would be a myriad of outcomes, just as with people. depends on the plant. A flower would probable just whither and maybe die. a green, nonflowering plant would probably still grow but not as well, maybe be stunted by still green because of the attention, even if it's the wrong sort. spiny plants, (nettles, cacti, the like,) would grow longer and sharper thorns....

the real question you are asking is..... even though I am abused, am I able to grow undamaged? my answer would be 'yes'..........

in a way they can still grow...but the idea of talking to your plants is a positive thing......soo when you yell at them.....it shouldnt matter.....because plants can't hear....and the talking to the plants thing is just an old legend....i mean if you take care of a plant silently and give it all the sun and water it needs....it will grow at ot close to the same rate as the one you didn't

LOL, they would grow! Insecurities? LOL

It's the carbon dioxide we give off when we talk that they love and that's why they grow.

there is an island somewhere in the south pacific, where they don't have access to tree cutting materials, so they yell at the trees and eventually they fall over.

No, I think they'd be afraid not to grow. I'll give it a try.
