The only good site in Michigan is the sign saying "You are now leaving Hell(Michigan), thank you come again.

Not sure which area you're interested in, but here's a few ideas for you!
Grand Rapids, MI:
John Ball Zoo, Frederick Meijer Gardens, There are also several museums downtown
Battle Creek, MI:
Binder Park Zoo, Anybodies Playground
Kalamazoo, MI:
Air Zoo, There's also a new water park opening in Spring called Pirate's Island
