Instead of voting for Sanjaya to make a "mockery" of the show, how about everybody not watching the show? There should be a dramatic lack of votes instead.

Because they get more press by doing it this way. But I totally agree that it is so stupid. I wish there was something that could be done about it. So many truly talented singers are being sent home because of that stupid website. He might be a nice kid, but he CAN NOT sing. Lets just face the facts. I think Idol will go down hill if this continues. I place a vote for everyone EXCEPT sanjaya and then another one for my favorite. That way, it is like a vote against him!
