You can apply for most things on-line these days.

Although most Banks have web sites where you can fill in your details on-line and maybe even get approval 'in principle', Unity make you download and print out the Application Forms and fill them in manually (see link below)

In the long run, this may save you time since the other Banks will still have to send you, and get you to sign, the Application documents and return these, with proof of identity, before they will do the final Credit Checks and make the final decision.

The drawback is that you can't check Unity have (typed in) your details correctly untill they process the forms.
