Technically we are "finding the fountain of youth". Ageing IS being slowed and a theroy is in the works to reverse it. And the most exciting thing is...its happening NOW...in OUR lifetime! Look for yourself. Click the links below or do a Google/Youtube search for Aubrey De Grey.
Oh and by the way I plan on jumping right in! Anyone that says death is inevitable and a natural part of life is pretty narrow minded in my opinon, and those who say they don't want to live forever because they would get bored??? Rediculous!

The fountain of youth was discovered long time ago, so anyone can jump right in.
"A long standing story is that Spanish explorer Juan Ponce de León was searching for the Fountain of Youth when he travelled to present-day Florida in 1513, but the story did not start with him, nor was it unique to the New World. Tales of healing waters date to at least the time of the Alexander Romance, and were popular right up to the European Age of Exploration. The later legend derives from the "Water of Life" tale in the Eastern versions of the Alexander Romance, where Alexander and his servant cross the Land of Darkness to find the restorative spring. The servant in that story is in turn derived from Middle Eastern legends of Al-Khidr, a sage who appears also in the Qur'an. Arabic and Aljamiado versions of the Alexander Romance were very popular in Spain during and after the period of Moorish rule, and would have been known to the explorers who journeyed to America."
I hope it helps.

Jump in. I believe that as they are, our bodies could live vastly longer than they have been usually. A fountain of youth? Sure I'd love to live forever...

Id take a few bottles of it and wait till I was old to see if it was worth it to grow young again. If I got enough bottles, I could live for hundreds of years! Yet, I dont know what is like, or growing old.

Well, I might. I want to go to heaven, but I really don't want to die. I mean, I guess death is just a stage in life but I'm not completely sure what I'd do. I'd probably just put a little in a bottle and slip some occasionally.

I'd congratulate you, then go and find my own. Seriously, the fountain of youth isn't a physical place or object.

I think I'd do neither one. Im a betweener I'm old enough to have seen what happens to people who really grow old.
every one they ever knew who cared about them
is already dead.
and I'm young enough to know if i stayed young the government would keep me a wage slave forever as I'd never reach retirement age.
