Besides their being proof from the Iranian Opposition party that the kidnapping of British Sailors and Marines was a deliberate planned event staged by them because of their personal agenda, do you think they are ready for War now, knowing full well that they are deliberately provoking. or are they this time just trying to see how far they can go until NEXT stunt they pull off. Remember Hitler started his invasion of Poland by doing a fake border crossing with germans dressed as Poles pretending to cross into Germany, Iranian Pres is such a huge fan of Hitler maybe he is copying him.

Yes, you are right. Hitler did dress Germans as poles.

As fantastic an idea as it may seem to us, it may indeed be in reality behind the politics of Iran to provoke a war. Iranian president Ahmadi-nejad is a mahdaviat (one who believes in and prepares for the mahdi) The mahdi is the divinely guided one who appears to lead Muslims during a time of chaos. Ahmadi-nejad spent $17 million of Iran's money to remodel the Jamkaran mosque in Qom in preparation for the arrival of the mahdi.
If Iran provokes a war and the mahdi arrives then Iran was instrumental in doing it. If Iran provokes a war and the mahdi does not arrive but a lot of Iranians die then they will all go to jannah (heaven) because they have died in the jihad fee sybil Allah (jihad for Allah).

Even if no military action ensues, then Iran has gained respect in the Muslim world for standing up to the West.

I don't think Iran wants war. I have the feeling that Ahmadinejad and Chavez decided to make an incident that would jack up the price of oil. This could escalate to the point of war but it won't go into a shooting situation
