You know the guy that plays the boyfriend who want a sex change? That's the same guy who plays the vampire in 'Fright Night' :-) He was nominated for Best Supporting Actor for 'Dog Day'...
The guy that played the partner/best friend was nominated for an Oscar for this, The Godfather and one other movie before his death in the late 70s. Had he been around now, we'd probally have him in the same catagory as Jack Nicholson, Robert De Niro, Dustin Hoffman, etc.
This my favorite Al Pacino movie! I hope it's not remade anytime soon...lol "...I'm dying here! I'm dying here!..." :-)
