I am getting 1 betta. I need one more companion. So far, I thinking of a Olive Nerite snail, which doesn't reproduce in freshwater tanks. Think this is a good idea, or tell me yours. (or both.)

It's a 16 galloner.

Depends on what you keep the betta in honestly. For a small tank or bowl, the snail is the best choice. If you have a 2.5 gallon or more I like cory cats. They hang out at the bottom while the betta is at the top and are quite active little fish.

A snail or a guppy would work. Just watch the guppy to make sure it doesn't go after the fins of your new Betta.

I'm guessing that you don't have a very large tank? Your best bet is probably a small snail then.
