An overwhelming majority of 72% of American troops serving in Iraq think the U.S. should exit the country within the next year, and more than one in four say the troops should leave immediately, a new Le Moyne College/Zogby International survey shows.

The poll, conducted in conjunction with Le Moyne College’s Center for Peace and Global Studies, showed that 29% of the respondents, serving in various branches of the armed forces, said the U.S. should leave Iraq “immediately,” while another 22% said they should leave in the next six months. Another 21% said troops should be out between six and 12 months, while 23% said they should stay “as long as they are needed

Wow troops in a war zone want to go home and not risk there life anymore. Everyone one knows that the troops are our best thinkers. That is why the are doing a dangerous job that does not pay much and takes little skill. Also i am sure none of them took personally not wanting or risk there lives or being away from there family into account.

I do think if people in congress want to use their constitutional abilities to defund the war it should be done in a separate bill that would not hurt the military by cutting other programs to pay for the war.
The emergency funding bill is not the bill to do this with. Because this bill not passing hurts soldiers by not allowing them to train effectively, and there are cuts for us at home too.
COLA being the one effecting myself the most.

I think we should finish the job, because I believe the surge is working. But I will respect my congress and if they choose to end the war by pulling the funding I will respect their decision.

They didn't ask me. They can't claim the majority of the troops in Iraq if they didn't ask all the troops in Iraq.
