but if you want to do a really good job there are alot of things you need to do.

1. first thing to do is wash you car with soap. some people say use dawn to cut the grease and oil that you pick up from the road. i use dawn once ever 10 or so washes because it can be rough on your car.

2. dry your car with something that wont leave lint. and keep it out of direct sun light.

3. after you car is dry clay bar you car.

4. then wash the car again but with regular car soap

5. then wax you car.

Hi,

I can help you on both counts I think!

For the interior, use Saddle-Soap it keeps your leather soft, supple and even removes odors like smoke, etc., you can get it at any car place and even Wal-Mart.

For the outside, to keep the paint looking like new use any kind of Carnuba wax. Its removes the oxidation from the paint (that dull look) follow the directions carefully, and when you wipe the wax off the paint looks amazing. There are other waxes like solid gold, etc. they are great for new paint, but if your paint has any dullness to it, nothing will renew it like Carnuba wax.

Have fun!

***Use Mothers Leather seat conditioner.
I like saddle soap on shoes, baseball gloves, and other leather accessories. Car leather seats "wikes"! You would need to use water to make the soap work. I'm not sure your leather seats would appreciate water.

Try Lexol leather cleaner and conditioner, two separate products.
