Why vote based on parties?

I personally feel that political parties are retarded. Some people are so died hard republican that they would vote for Adolf Hitler if he was the only republican. I think we should vote based entirely on the individual and their beliefs. Not cause of them running as a donkey or elephant.

I sort of agree, but the basic concept of political parties is important because without organizing people wouldn't have any political influence. They can be and are a positive thing, the problem is that in the U.S. two parties which are both primarily funded by international corporations whose interest is in legislation which favors their making money rather than the interests of the nation, have disproportionate power.

Gosh because Im so busy and kinda stupid like the rest of this country, especially in the urban areas. See Im a housewife and mother so I spend most of my time telling boring stories about my children that only interest me. I really dont care all that much about politics or who runs this country as long as I can get everything I want and attack the character of public officials when I dont. **** the poor, **** the disabled, **** minorities. Dont hire the disabled because theyre cocky enough.

The part system is the most efficient way so far to get candidates on a ballot and to get them elected. It is somewhat more efficient than having everyone simply write a name on a card and send it in or drop it in a box. The party syustem gets fewer candidates more exposure and helps to represent more Americans than simply choosing just anyone.
