Quite often feeder guppies are just young fancy guppies. A small local pet shop will probably let you pick them out yourself for about 10 cents each.

Since guppies are livebearers, they tend to have a lot of children and therefore the supply is usually always higher than the demand.. You shouldn't have a problem finding them just about anywhere they sell fish. Just a note of warning though, do not buy "feeder guppies" as those will likely not be of the best health. They are kept in cramp quarters and aren't meant to live for very long.

Sometimes petsmart or petco has 10 for $10 deals on fancy guppies and other sorts. You can try buying feeder guppies. Sometimes fishstores put fancy guppy fry's along with feeder guppies. Other than that, feeder guppies are not as colorful as fancy guppies, but has some color.

get semi-fanci guppies at walmarts, meijers, pet stores and
look for different features that you like in the males -- then
breed your own -- it's fun and gets you some real interesting
lines

im not sure where you are at but i usually go to petco. they always have them on sale. i bought mine there and only paid 1.37 each........ they also keep them seperated females in one tank and males in other
also petsmart is good on fish prices too

I bought mine at petsmart and they costed $2.29 each .....I dont consider that to cheap
