y = 3x/2 - 1

2(y) = 2(3x/2) - 2(1)

2y = 3x - 2

- 3x + 2y = 3x - 2 - 3x

- 3x + 2y = - 2. . .Standard form

- 3x + 2y + 2 = - 2 + 2

- 3x + 2y + 2 = 0. . .General Form

You should be able to do this yourself. FIRST, move the y term to the "other side", and you will have 0 = 3/2 x - y -1. That's your general form. A is the coefficient of the x term, B is the coefficient of the y term and C is the constant. Note that if the coefficients are negative in the equation, they will be negative in the general form.
