My niece has 'peep wars' in her microwave. Place two peeps of different colors in the microwave on a dish. You want them different colors so you can see which one wins. Eventually, they explode, and the winning peep gets it's color all over the losing peep. Or else, the first to explode loses. Make up your own rules.
i like the chicks better for eating, than the bunnies. They are thicker and fluffier, also more traditional. I saw bright orange-red peeps for the first time this year. Still prefer yellow, or the pastel colors.

This is going to sound funny, but I didn't know until I was about 25 that they weren't stale to start out with. The ones we grew up with were always the pink bunnies and yellow chicks, and my mom put them in the plastic eggs the night before so they were almost stale the next morning. I like them any way I can get them, but since the sugar is messy it's a good idea to keep wash-n-wipes on hand. Can't wait to try the green ones this year. I did like the sugar cookie flavored ones for Valentine's Day, but you can't beat the originals.

I have always liked the yellow chicks, slightly stale. The other day I was buying peeps, and I noticed something I have NEVER noticed before! Orange Cream Peeps! They are shaped like an egg and they taste like an orange dreamsicle! They are great! They are certainly giving the little yellow chick a run for the money!

I like fresh, medium and stale peeps. FYI: frozen is a good substitute for stale, but you gotta eat it fast. It's hard to get them stale at my house, someone always finds them and eats them before they get good and hard.
My fave shape ever was the RED heart shaped Peeps that Target sold for Valentine's in 2006! Those little darlings looked like ruby dusted jewels to me. I also like the brown Cocoa Bunnies! New for 2007, and the kick butt, they are sooo cute. My son loved finding green chicks at the store this year, too. I did see the sugar free ones, but didn't even bother.
I really love my peeps microwaved! They blow up to ten times their size and the sugar burns a little, so it tastes like a campfire roasted marshmallow. My kids squeal with glee when they watch the peep expand, it's pretty funny. Place one peep in the middle of a large microwave safe plate, nuke until it gets HUGE and smells a little burned. It's yummmy.

The chicks are best. Without a doubt. I'm not so particular about color. With the chicks, you bite the heads off first, and then the body is 2 more bites. Personally, I like them semi-warm. Not like from the microwave, but like if they've been sitting in the car for a couple of hours. Peeps are awesome. They should be sold year round!
I've actually made s'mores with peeps before. It's pretty tasty!

Mmmmm... Peeps. I like my Peeps fresh as the dew on Easter morning! I like them in all shapes... but my absolute favorite? A toss up between Yellow Chicks and Pink Bunnies. Just can't deside! Good question! :)

OK...I know you've gotten a bunch of answers, but, being a PEEP fanatic, just had to answer...My Mom, as long as I can remember and to this day (and I am 48 years old) has always made sure I have PEEPS at Easter...the purple are the best (just a mind thing I think...it's my favorite color), but the original yellow chicks...inbetween..are best...
I had NO IDEA there were so many PEEP fans! Cool!

My first reaction to this question was "omg" how silly. But after thinking about it and reading some of the answers, it's a pretty dam good question. I'm also craving some of the little bunnies now! The yellow bunnies are my fav. And whoever said putting them on grahm crackers with chocolate and pecans should get the 10 points......cause that made my mouth water! Happy Easter
