Hi I am looking for a cheap first anniversary present- We are on a tight student budget, but i want to get him something nice. He is very outdoorsy and loves hunting and camping, but he already has everything and more he needs for that. Any suggestions would be great....I've thought of blowing up a black and white photo of our wedding and hanging it above our bed? Would that be a good present for a guy, it almost seems to girly!

Here's something creative that will be appreciated and you will have fun doing:

Make up a crossword puzzle and have all the hints be personal inside moments and jokes that only you two and family would know about. Put it on a poster board and add some clipart and some pictures to it!

The crossword puzzle could be time consuming and a bit frustrating ... you could do the same idea with a WORDSEARCH or WORDFIND puzzle.

Put your computer skills to work! Use Excel, get clipart from Yahoo Images Search, copy them, and reformat them, use a gluestick to put on posterboard.

Use graph paper, and pictures from magazines if you are not as good on the computer, and it will give it a homemade feeling.

Not too girly!!!

If you get creative you don't need a lot of money. Why not make him a custom "coupon book" with coupons that read like "this entitles the sexy bearer to" and then get creative! The coupons don't all have to be for the bedroom and can be for all the things he likes and needs - it could even be for "ending a fight with a long wet kiss and maybe more" or "a night of space when you need it" or "a night out with your friends without arguement". Make 20-30 coupons and tell him not to spend them all at once!

Won't cost you a dime, but your husband will love it more than any expensive gift.

A picture would be kind of girlish. The traditional one year anniversary gift is supposed to be a time piece. Maybe, since he is outdoorsy, you can get him a water proof watch.

How about a night of wild hot sex probably one of things most guys wouldn't mind on there birthday. Considering some of you ladies seem to forget our needs and desires once you get the ring and the ceremony. Sorry if that sounds rude but you know what i mean!
Congrats and really us men like sex all the time your still technically newlyweds.

Since you want to get him something cheap, I suggest cooking a nice special dinner for him. A good all-night sex fest while you take him camping, and if you really want to get him a small gift, how about a fishing license for a year since he is so ourdoorsy.

I was in the same boat for my 1st anniversary. My hubby was in Boot Camp, so I went and had our wedding rings engraved with our initials and wedding date. It's something that he will have with him forever.
