The question was about two angles that are supplementary.The second angle is 20 degrees larger than two times the first angle. What are the number of degrees in each angle? The correct answer is one angle is 53 1/3 degrees and 126 2/3 degrees. One of the persons who had this answer deserves credit for for best answer

supplementary is 180.

let x be first angel
let y be second angel

given that, y = 20+2x (1)
and x + y = 180 (2)

substitute y into eqt (2), we have

x + 20 +2x = 180
3x = 160
x = 53(1/3)

substitute x into eqt (2)

y + 53(1/3) = 180
y = 180 - 53(1/3)
y = 126(2/3)

thats it.
