I work in the hospitality industry, and want your opinions on why you pick a certain hotel - what factors come into play for you? What is most important? Least important? Location, Rate, Brand (name of the hotel), Rewards Program, etc...

Serious answers only, please. Thank you!

Well I work at a Candlewood Suites hotel, and it is the cleanest hotel i've ever been at, so everytime i go out of town i stay at candlewood, but the most important factors would be how clean the place is, and the customer service. the least important thing would probably be area attractions, because i'll just drive to where i need to go, i really don't care how far the mall is or how far a restaurant is....
